The Nigeria Society of Engineers Yobe state Council had today visited the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu as part of the Society's week long activities in the State.
Earlier, while briefing the Polytechnic Management staff, the Chairman of NSE Engr.Mai Madu said the visit is an appreciation to the institution for being one of it major supporters and also to inspect on going projects currently embarked upon by the Rector.
He said all these form part of the engineering week of the society which commences on Monday.
While responding, the Rector Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Engr. Dr. Usman M. Kallamu traces back the long existing partnership with the NSE, in which he assured them of it sustainance.
He promised to continue supporting them at any given time with the view of taking the society to the next level.
The Rector also told the visitors that the Polytechnic will continue having projects as more are coming.
In a vote of thanks passed by the Deputy Rector Academics Engr. Dr. Shettima U. Ali, thanks the NSE for the visit and wish them a successful and fruitful Engineering week.
Highlights of the visit was the inspection of the new three storey building complex of the School of Management Studies under construction.
