Yobe State Governor,Mai Mala Buni, has sworn in 20 commissioners with a charge to be prudent in discharging their primary assignments.
Speaking shortly after administering the oath of office to the Commissioners, Governor Mai Mala Buni says they are carefully selected to serve the present administration for it to deliver on its mandate.
He said as team players you work closely with your Permanent Secretaries, Directors and other staff for us to collectively to achieve our goals and improving the lives of Yobeans.
He also said the people of the State have reinvested their faith in us, we must strive to justify their confidence in us by meeting their dreams and expectations.
Furthermore, you are hereby charged to personally inspect ongoing projects periodically and be in a position to give a full account of the progress of work to justify value for money spent at any given time.
Buni said their appointment was based on integrity and antecedents, asking them not to betray his confidence.
The ceremony was held at the Banquet Hall Government House Damaturu .
