Governor of Yobe State Mai Mala Buni has today paid a condolence visit to the family of Goni Modu Zanna Burah over the death of his elderly Mother Hajja Fanna Zannah.
Late Fanna died at the age of 86 in Nizamiye Hospital Abuja after a protracted illness.
The deceased is survived by Seven (7) children prominent among them is Goni Zannah Bura who was a one time Deputy Governor of Yobe state and currently a Nigerian Ambassador in Lebanon.
She also left behind several grant children.
The Governor was represented by his Deputy Idi Barde Gubana who visited the residence of Ambassador in Yunusari and extended a heartfelt condolence on behalf of the Governor and good people of yobe state.
The Governor prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to admit the deceased in to Aljannatul Firdausi.
The Governor described the death of Hajja Fanna as a huge lost and she would continue to be remembered for her contributions to the success of Ambassador Goni Modu Zanna Burah.
He said the family lost a great pillar, especially her contribution in providing wisdom and advice to younger generation and the Society would always be remembered.
He prayed to Allah to forgive her shortcomings and the entire family the fortitude to bear the lost.
Special prayers were offered by the special adviser on religious affairs Ustas Babagana kyari for the repose of her soul and Aljannatul Firdausi be the reward of her good deeds.
The Deputy Governor was accompanied by the Secretary to the state government, Commissioners, special advisers,executive secretaries among others.
