Governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni, met with the Country management of Islamic Development Bank in Abuja to explore opportunities to develop Education,Urban Water Supply and Agriculture in yobe state.
The meeting dwelled on improved partnership to fast track the development of education, Urban Water in the major towns of Buni Yadi Damaturu, Gashua, Geidam Nguru, Potiskum and revitalization of Agriculture in the state.
Govenor Buni was ably represented by a team headed by the Secretary to the State Government Baba Malam Wali mni.
Buni further stressed the commitment of his administration to improve the standard of Education and to provide vocational trades and address the problem of out of school children and girl child education , urban water to Supply, clean water to each household, Agriculture to increase production and income to our farmers for domestic and external consumption.
The leader of the delegation, Mr Ahsanul Kubri’s assured the governor of their commitment to support the state government in its efforts towards the recovery of Education, Water Supply and Agriculture in the state .
Other members of the Yobe State Government delegation includes Abdullahi Gashua Chief of Staff to His Excellency, Alhaji Ibrahim Jajere Permanent Secretary Ministry of Finance and Alhaji Yakubu Mohammed Gashua (Jacob) Chairman Yobe State Chambers of Commerce.
