The Vice-Chancellor of Yobe State University, Prof. Mala Mohammed Daura, has today Thursday 17th August, 2023, inspected the biomedical science equipment donated to the Biomedical Science Research and Training Centre (BioRTC) of the University.
The VC who was accompanied to the centre by the University Registrar, Dr. Kalli Yusuf Alkali Gazali, the University Librarian, Dr. Amina Makintami, and other staff of the University appreciated the Founder of the Biomedical Science Research and Training Centre (BioRTC), Dr. Mahmoud Bukar Maina whose efforts have resulted in the successful attraction of substantial donation of cutting-edge biomedical equipment from universities across the UK.
The equipment recently donated are; Ultra Low Temperature Freezer (-80), Micro Centrifuge Machine, Tabletop Ultra Centrifuge, Gs-Fr Centrifuge, Suspension Mixer and Wifug Centrifuge.
Others are; Eppendorf Centrifuge, Magnetic Stirrer with Accessories, Stacking Adapter VST Kronos 160/HC 150, Western Blotting Apparatusz, Vacuum/Pressure Pumping System, Electrophoresis System, Spectrophotometer, Autoclave Sterilizer, Cryogenic Storage System and Incubator.

the Vice-Chancellor also used the forum to congratulate the founder of the Biomedical Science Research and Training Centre (BioRTC), Dr. Mahmoud Bukar Maina, on his recent appointment by the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni as Honorary Adviser on Science, Research and Innovation.
