The Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has promised to complete the ongoing projects for the benefits of the Yobeans.
The State Commissioner of Home Affairs, Information and Culture Hon.Abdullahi Bego, stated this to newsmen at the press Centre Government house Damaturu.
He said the second term inaugural State Executive Council, meeting was presiding over by governor Buni at the Council Chambers of the Government House, Damaturu.
He further said, governor Buni during the meeting has reaffirmed the commitments of his administration on completing all ongoing and initiating new projects towards the development of the state.
According to him, governor Buni has rolled out the priority areas of his administration in the next for years to include security, education, healthcare delivery, agriculture, wealth creation and employment, and infrastructural development among others.
Bego said Governor Buni emphasized that the government would not condone acts of sabotage, diversion and waste of scarce resources.
He added that Governor Buni also urged the Commissioners to serve with integrity, dignity, and deliver, stressing that he will hold them to the high standards of the expectations of the people of Yobe state.
In his remark, the State Commissioner of Health Dr. Muhammad Lawan Gana, narrated the achievements of Buni's administration in the health sector in the last 4 years.
He said the state government has collaborated with international partners meant to provide free healthcare services for children and pregnant women in the state.
