Yobe state Governor,Mai Mala Buni today signed two bills establishing the Hisbah Commission, and the Yobe State Information Technology Development Agency (YITDA) into law.
The Hisbah Commission law is to monitor the enforcement and implementation of Shariah and prevent other social vices in the state.
Similarly, the Yobe State Information Technology Development Agency law is to coordinate and collaborate with institutions in mentoring and training of youths in the field of information technology in the state.
The Statement which is signed and issued to the sahel News by the Director General press and media affairs to the Governor Mamman Mohammed said,the
two laws enacted by the Yobe state House of Assembly and signed by His Excellency Governor Buni, comes into effect today, 6th October 2023.
