Yobe state Governor Mai Mala Buni has flagg off the distribution of Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan SAIL Foundation mega empowerment programme for his constituents today in Gashu'a town of yobe state.
The distribution of the Mega empowerment programme was launched amidst thousands of people in Gashua township stadium.
Gov.Mai Mala Buni said the empowerment programme is intendeem with his administration policy on empowerment and employment generation.
The Governor reaffirmed that as a deliberates policy of his administration to established the ministry of Wealth Creation empowerment and employment generation to empower people and to alleviate poverty across the state.
Governor Mai Mala Buni expressed his appreciation to the efforts of the Senate president of the 9th Assembly,
Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan for empowering people of his constituency.
Governor Buni urged the beneficiaries of the empowerment programme to utilize the items given to them judiciously.
Earlier the president of the 9th Assembly Senate, Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan assured to continued to provide various empowerment programme for the betterment of the electorates.
Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan said the event is out of many empowerment programme carryout under SAIL Foundation to empower his constituents.
He assured that youth in the zone would remain centre peace in his representative by providing employment opportunities, empowerment, medical outreach and mass animal viccinations among others.
Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan commended the efforts of the people of his constituency for given him all the necessary support and cooperation.
The mega empowerment programme was attended by the member House of representative Tijjani Zannah Zakariyya, Emirs of Bade, Machina, Nguru Yusufari among others.
Over six thousand seven hundred and sixty six items including vehicles, tricycles, fire fighting equipments, irrigation farming equipments, jega, sewing machines.
Others include Mechanized Ox ploughs , water pumps, tractors, granding machines, motorcycles, water tankers, school buses, and harvesters among others.
