Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has offered N92,600,000 million scholarships to 221 law graduates going for Bar studies at the Nigerian Law School.
This is another bold step taken by the Buni administration to encourage Yobe State law students to attend Nigeria Law School for the year 2023/2024 academic session.
Governor Buni stated this at the award of scholarship to Yobe State Law Students attending the 2023/2024 academic session of the Nigerian Law School.
"Our administration will continue awarding scholarships to our law students to attend the Nigerian Law School in continuation of the support this administration has continued to render in the last four years to the law students to obtain their professional certificates.
"This is in line with our comprehensive and holistic approach to the development of education in Yobe state.
"As you are aware, this administration places a high premium on quality education from the basic foundation through the tertiary, and professional courses such as Law, Accountancy, and Medical sciences among others" He said.
He further said Yobe State has sustained a top spot with an unbeaten record in the Northeast sub-region, and among the states in Nigeria, providing such opportunities to our students to pursue professional certificates with ease.
Buni reassure you that his administration will continue to be consistent in awarding scholarships to qualified Yobe indigenes in tertiary institutions both at home and in foreign institutions across the World.
