Founder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation, Dr. M. K. Dikwa, mni has restated his commitment to ensuring access to quality education for the less privileged members of society.
Dr. Dikwa stated this today during a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, in his office.
Dr. Dikwa said the Al-Ansar Foundation had been relentless in providing quality and affordable education through its schools across the country.
He therefore emphasised the Foundation's readiness in partnering with the Yobe State Government to ensure the provision of more educational institutions and facilities in order to improve access to education for more indigent families within the state and beyond.
Responding, the Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, applauded the untiring efforts of the Founder & President of Al-Ansar Foundation, particularly his philosophy of serving humanity with passion.
He used the occasion to appreciate the singular effort of Dr. Dikwa in influencing the construction of mass housing scheme to the lower income earners of Yobe state under the Family Homes Finance Ltd when he was at the Fedeeal Ministry of Finance as Permanent Secretary.
Governor Mai Mala noted with happiness that the Foundation had, over the years, impacted positively on the lives of many less privileged members of society. The governor pledged to sponsor Yobe indigenes to study at Al-Ansar University Maiduguri, being the first Private University in the Kanem-Borno Empire.
He therefore urged other well-meaning members of society to emulate the good example shown by Dr. Dikwa in order to ensure economic development and growth in the country.
The Yobe State Governor expressed his readiness to partner with Al-Ansar Foundation for the benefit of the people of Yobe and Borno in particular and the nation in general.
Highlights of the visit include the exchange of common ideas and pleasantries.
