Permanent Secretary (Protocol) Assumed Duty, pledges loyalty to Gov.Buni

The Newly appointed permanent secretary (Protocol),Kashim Tijjani Kalli, has assumed duties today at the Government House, following the receipt of Handover notes from the former Permanent Secretary, Zanna Ali Ibrahim,in a brief ceremony today at the Government House, Damaturu.
Zanna Ali, while handing over to the new Permanent Secretary, Kashim Tijjani Kalli thanked H.E Governor Mai Mala Buni CON for giving him the opportunity to serve.
He urged all staff to give the new Permanent Secretary their support and cooperation in the discharge of his duties.
He commended the new Permanent Secretary for his passion and dedication to work while describing Kashim Tijjani Kalli as his boss with whom he had worked closely in the past.
The new Permanent Secretary, Kashim Tijjani Kalli, who was until his appointment, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Commerce and Tourism, pledges his total support and loyalty to H.E Governor Mai Mala Buni.
He said as part of the administration, his top priority was to transform Yobe State with meaningful developmental projects and as such, all hands must be on deck to assist the H.E Gov. Buni to succeed.
Kashim Tijjani Kalli appealed to all staff to give him maximum cooperation to discharge his duties effectively.
He also advised staff in the Protocol Unit to always report to work on time and concentrate on assisgnments given to them.
He promised to carry everyone along irrespective of gender and tribe and serve the Buni administration to the best of his abilities.
Recall, the Head of Civil Service, Hamidu M. Alhaji, announced the posting of Tijjani Kalli from Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism to Government House (Protocol), and Zanna Ali Ibrahim from Government House (Protocol) to Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Tourism. The move aims to enhance administrative efficiency and service delivery across government institutions.
The redeployment underscores Gov. Buni's commitment to improving governance effectiveness and ensuring alignment with development objectives.
