Mafa Attack: Damagum, PDP Board of Trustee Condolence Governor Buni

The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ambassador Umar iliya Damagum has led the members of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the People Democratic Party (PDP), to sympathize with the government and people of Yobe State over the recent attack in Mafa community.
The PDP's chairman and BOT also commiserated with the people of the state over the unfortunate flood disaster incident which led to the losses of lives and properties in the state.
Commiserating with the Governor at the Presidential Lodge in Damaturu, Ambassador Damagum said the state is struggling to overcome two challenges this year.
Damagum said the leadership of the PDP is solidly behind the victims of the two incidences which affected their livelihood.
He also offered prayers for the souls of those who lost their lives during the Boko Haram attack and that of flood that affected some Communities in the state.
He added that despite the political differences, the PDP's BOT decided to visit the state for sympathy at this hard time because of the mutual relationship between the governor and other parties.
"We are part of the Yobe family and we feel the pain and sorrow suffered by the government and good people of Yobe, and we are here to sympathize with our brothers and sisters over this very Davastating incident" Damagum said.
Responding, Governor Mai Mala Buni, commended the BOT of People Democratic Party (PDP) for the visit over the sad and unfortunate Mafa Boko-haram attack and flood disaster.
"We really appriate you for the visit we feel honour and thank the NWC of (PDP) and the party leadership for the visit over mafa Boko-haram attack.
"On behalf of the government and people of Yobe state, l thank you and appreciate you for coming" Gov. Buni said.
