Gov Buni warns Civil Servants, Public Officers against early campaigns

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has warned civil servants, Public Officers against any political engagement geared towards 2027 electioneering in the state. 

Buni cushions the  politicians in yobe state, to Desist from campaigning before the Designated time.

The Sahel Treasure News Gathered that the campaign of who would succeed Governor Buni in the 2027 has already started among the youths and some politicians in the state.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed permanent secretaries, members and chairmen of the government agencies, Buni said such actions would be considered as a sabotage to the government to achieve its goals.

"Buni noted in recent times the emerging politicking for 2027.

As a government we are concentrating on executing our campaign promises to the good people of Yobe State.

"We will not tolerate any deliberate act of overheating the polity intended to cause confusion, disaffection and to divert government attention from focus."  He said.

"Any political engagement geared towards 2027 electioneering by public officers and civil servants, would be considered as a deliberate sabotage to the government to achieve its objectives. 

"We should be reminded that this administration still has more time to concentrate on its developmental Project, good governance and to provide efficient  and effective services to the good people of the state and You are therefore warned" Buni said.

The Governor also reminds the 
newly sworn in public officers that the Oath of office and Oath of Allegiance they have just sworn to, puts a heavy moral burden and obligations on them.

He urged the Newly appointed Officials to be good government Ambassadors.
