Borno:29 Task Force Brigade Host West Afrcan Social Activities In Kaga

The 29 Task Force Brigade, Joint Task Force(JTF), North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), recently hosted its annual West African Social Activities (WASA) at its Headquarters in Benisheikh, Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State.
The event brought together troops and guests in a relaxed atmosphere to celebrate and showcase the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman of Kaga LGA, Alhaji Mairu Goni Abdullah, who was the Special Guest of Honour, described WASA as a platform for fostering unity, showcasing Nigeria’s diverse cultural heritage, and promoting peaceful coexistence amongst troops and the host community.
“I am highly honoured to be part of this year’s WASA.
This event strengthens bonds among troops, their families, and friends in a social and non-conflict setting,” he said.
He commended the Brigade for addressing security challenges in Kaga LGA.
