Yobe:Inland Revenue Service Commends YSU for Prompt Payment of Tax

The Acting Vice-Chancellor of Yobe State University, Prof. Bukar Jamri, has called on Nigerians to consider the payment of revenue and other related tax as an act of patriotism to the nation.
The Acting VC made the call today 25th February, 2025 during an appreciation visit by the Yobe State Inland Revenue Service in his Office at the University Damaturu.
He further said the money is spent to improve and maintain public infrastructure, roads, public services, schools, emergency services and other welfare programmes in the Country.
The yobe State University is responsible for the payment and assured the Members of the Delegation that the yobe State University Damaturu will maintain the tempo,Jamri said.
The Chairman of the Delegation whose Double as Director Planning, Yahaya Adamu,
said they were in the office to appreciate and consolidate enlightenment on the need for authorities to continue paying tax.
He also Disclosed that Yobe State University is the first institution in the state that Paying its taxes Promptly.
