Yobe PDP Congress Umar El Gash Emerge State PDP Chairman

Umar El Gash has elected unopposed as the Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Yobe State Chapter, after a successful congress held in Damaturu at 27th August Stadium.
El gash secured 1,605 votes out of 1,611 cast, as announced by the Chairman of the 2025 State PDP Electoral Committee, Mr. Babayali Umar.
The election outcome demonstrates significant confidence from party members in El Gash's leadership.
Mr. El- Gash victory complies with the right legal standards by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the PDP's documents.

Mr. El Gash said his victory is not a personal victory, but a collective affirmation of shared commitment to the revive, rebuild and reposition the party in yobe state.
We must return to the grassroots and reawaken our structure in every ward,mobilize our youths empower our Women, and build bridge across tribes,religions and regions.
