Gov.Buni Commissions Sokoto Geographic Information Service (SOGIS)

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state serve as Special Guest of Honour in Sokoto state,
to commissioned the Sokoto Geographic Information Service.
He congratuled Sokoto state government for establishing the agency to improve land administration in the state.
Gov. Buni who shared the Yobe Geographic Information Service (YOGIS) experience, said it has improved land administration in the state.
"Shortly after the establishment of YOGIS, our revenue drive from lands improved drastically.
He explained that problems associated with land grabbing was also checked.
Buni urged the people of Sokoto state to continue supporting the Ahmed administration for him to achieve more.
Gov. Ahmed assured that his administration would continue to execute people oriented projects to improve the lives of the people.
"SOGIS is aimed at easing land administration, speedy up the process of Certificate of Occupancy with security features" he said.
