Gov.Buni Engages Apc Stakeholders On E-Registration

As the E- registration membership of APC is going nationwide, the state Governor Dr. Mai Mala Buni CON has today engaged with party members to review internal strategies and reinforce cohesion ahead of the future political engagements.
The meeting brought together party elders, executives, elected officials and key stakeholders from across the 3 senatorial districts to review internal strategies to rebuilt confidence and motivate supporters to participate fully in the party activities.
The Governor was represented by his Deputy Hon Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune) who is also the chairman state working committee. In his speech, the Deputy noted that the engagement is to formally intimate all party stakeholders on the current state of party affairs, especially on the E- registration of APC members and the urgent need to ensure grassroots mobilisation, political education and active participation of members in the E- registration exercise and other party activities.
The Governor further explained that as a truly democratic party, the APC wants to strengthen equitable representation, gender inclusiveness, youth representation and financial accountability.
As a chairman of the state working committee, he assured to work closely and collaborate with the party stakeholders to make the party more united and stronger before any electoral contest in the future.
He reaffirmed the state government commitment towards uplifting and uniting the party members and people of the state for the overall development, peace and harmonious coexistence of the people.
In his contribution, the APC chairman Hon. Muhammad Gadaka, stressed the need for the party members to intensify grassroots mobilisation for continuous voter registration exercise and APC membership E- registration process so as to have good data for effective planning and execution.
Also contributing, the chief whip, yobe state House of assembly, Hon Muhammad Isa bello who represented the speaker appealed to members APC family members to reciprocate the gesture done by the state government through various means of mobilisation and sensitising the electorates to participate fully in the ongoing exercise.
Some leaders of the stakeholders who attended the meeting notable among them are Hon Aji Yerima Bularafa, Dr Mairo Ahmad Amshi, Abba Gana Tata, Bala Musa Lawan and Hon Hassan El- Badewi spoke extensively and commended the leadership style of Governor Buni towards addressing the party differences.
