The Minister of Housing and Urban Development is in Yobe State to monitor the APC governorship primaries.

The Chairman of the APC Governorship Primaries and Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Engr. Rabe Darma, has visited some local government areas to observe and monitor the conduct of the primary election process.

During the visit, Dr. Rabe Darma expressed satisfaction with the peaceful atmosphere, level of organisation, and commitment demonstrated by party officials, delegates, and stakeholders. 

He commended the transparent and orderly manner in which the election was conducted, describing it as a reflection of democratic values and internal party discipline.

He encouraged all participants to continue maintaining peace, unity, and fairness throughout the exercise to ensure a credible outcome acceptable to all party members.

Furthermore, the Chairman directed other delegates and election monitoring teams to proceed to the remaining local government areas across Yobe State to supervise and ensure that the primary elections continue smoothly, transparently, and in accordance with the party’s established guidelines.

He reaffirmed that the success of the exercise depends on cooperation, discipline, and commitment from all stakeholders, while expressing confidence that the process would strengthen party unity and deepen democratic participation across the state.
