Yobe New SSG Meets Gov. Buni, Pledges Loyalty, Support to Administration

The newly appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Mohammed Goje, has paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Governor Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni, CON, following his recent appointment.

During the visit, Dr. Goje pledged absolute loyalty to the Governor and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the administration’s vision, policies Programs and service-driven agenda aimed at improving the lives of the good people of Yobe State.

Dr. Goje was accompanied by key party and government stakeholders, including the APC State Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka; the General Manager of YOROTA, Babagana Alhaji Modu Bature Goniri; the Domestic PA to His Excellency, Hassan Shettima. the Project Coordinator of the SOLID Project, Suleiman Dauda; the State APC Youth Leader, Mohammed Musa Gulani; the DG YOGIS, Abdullahi Hassan Gana, the MD Yobe Microfinance Bank, Prof. Sheriff Almuhajir, the DG YAPPPIP, Dr. Aliyu Isa Chikaji and Ahmed Musa Geidam of the APC National Headquarters, Abuja.

It will be recalled that Governor Mai Mala Buni approved the appointment of Dr. Mohammed Goje as Acting Secretary to the yobe State Government, a move widely regarded as strategic in further strengthening governance, coordination, and service delivery across the state.

Until his appointment, Dr. Goje served as the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), where he distinguished himself through dedication, responsiveness, and effective coordination of humanitarian interventions across yobe state.

Governor Buni charged the new SSG to rededicate himself to the service of the state, emphasizing the need for commitment, Diligence, and teamwork in advancing the administration’s Developmental Agenda and enhancing the welfare of the Good people of yobe state.
