Gov. Buni, Others Stand With APC Chairman As President Tinubu, Shettima Receive 2027 Nomination Forms

The Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, joined the Chairman of the Progressive Governors' Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, alongside Governors Babagana Umara Zulum, Uba Sani, Nasir Idris, Abba Kabir Yusuf, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and other top leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the National Chairman of the party, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, formally received the presidential nomination forms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, ahead of the 2027 general election.
The nomination forms were presented on behalf of President Tinubu by his Special Adviser on Political and Other Matters, Hon. Ibrahim Masari, during a well-attended ceremony held at the Continental Hotel, Abuja.
The event marked a significant milestone in the party's preparations for the 2027 general election, reaffirming the APC's commitment to sustaining the Renewed Hope Agenda and consolidating the progress being recorded under the Tinubu administration.
In his Remarks at the occasion, APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, described the presentation of the nomination forms as a defining moment for the party, reflecting the confidence of its leadership and members in President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima to continue providing purposeful leadership for Nigeria.
He noted that the overwhelming presence of governors, party executives and stakeholders from across the federation demonstrated the unity, strength and shared vision of the APC as it prepares for another electoral victory.
Governor Mai Mala Buni and other APC governors reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the party, mobilising support at the grassroots and working collectively to ensure the successful implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda for the benefit of all Nigerians.
