Ultra-Modern Boreholes

The people of Ngelzarma were filled with excitement and jubilation as drilling machines arrived to commence the construction of two state-of-the-art boreholes generously facilitated by Dr. Mukhtar Yerima DVM, MSc. (Betara of Gujba Emirate) CEO/MD GENEEDXX Nigeria Limited The landmark intervention is expected to bring lasting relief to thousands of residents by addressing the long-standing challenge of inadequate access to clean and safe drinking water.
The two boreholes will be located in Yabawa Ngelzarma and Anguwan Maimaje, with each borehole drilled to a depth of between 280 and 300 meters to ensure a sustainable and reliable water supply.
The project represents a major investment in the welfare and development of the communities.
Each borehole will be fitted with an 80,000-liter overhead water storage tank powered by a solar energy system, guaranteeing uninterrupted water distribution while promoting clean and renewable energy.
The modern facilities are designed to provide safe drinking water for households, schools, health facilities, and surrounding communities.
The project was surveyed and compiled by YARHASO and Ahmadinajad Integration Global Resources, whose technical planning and assessments paved the way for the successful execution of the intervention.
Their expertise ensured that the project meets the highest standards for efficiency and sustainability.
The drilling operations will be supervised by Garkuwa Humanitarian and Development Initiative to ensure quality execution and strict compliance with project specifications. The total cost of the two boreholes is ₦140 million, with each borehole valued at ₦70 million, reflecting the scale and significance of the humanitarian investment.
Residents of Ngelzarma described the arrival of the drilling rigs as a historic moment and expressed profound gratitude to Dr. Mukhtar Yerima for his generosity and commitment to community development.
They noted that the project will not only provide clean water but also improve public health, support economic activities, and transform the quality of life for present and future generations.
