Yobe APC 2027 Deputy Governor Candidate  Receives Rousing Welcome

The All Progressives Congress (APC)  Deputy Governorship Candidate for Yobe State, Barr. Samanja Sale, received a rousing welcome on his return to Damaturu from Abuja following his nomination by the party leadership as the running mate to the APC Governorship Candidate, Baba Malam Wali, for the 2027 governorship election.

The atmosphere along Potiskum Road came alive as hundreds of party faithful, political stakeholders, elders, women, youths, friends and well wishers and supporters from across the state converged to welcome the Deputy Governorship Candidate. 

The colourful reception was marked by strong display of unity, reflecting the widespread support for the APC ticket ahead of the 2027 election.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, at his Damaturu residence, Barr. Samanja expressed profound appreciation to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress for the confidence reposed in him through his nomination as the party's Deputy Governorship Candidate.

He specially thanked the Executive Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Hon. Dr. Mai Mala Buni, CON, for his leadership, mentorship, and passion to strengthening the party. He also conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency Senator Ibrahim Gaidam, CON, as well as other APC leaders and stakeholders across the state, whose guidance, support, and sacrifices have continued to promote the unity and progress of the party.

Barr. Samanja described his nomination as both a great honour and a solemn responsibility, assuring party members and the people of Yobe State that he would remain committed to the ideals of good governance, loyalty, and selfless service.

He appealed to party members and supporters to continue praying for him, the party's Governorship Candidate, Baba Malam Wali, and the entire APC leadership, noting that their prayers, support, and unity would remain invaluable as the party prepares for the 2027 general election.

"I sincerely thank everyone who came out in large numbers to receive me today. Your presence, encouragement, and goodwill mean so much to me and my family. I am deeply humbled by this overwhelming show of love and solidarity. 

I urge you to remain steadfast, united, and committed to our great party as we work together for a more prosperous Yobe State," he said.
